A Typical Day Shooting

Arrive 8.45am-9am for instructions and coffee followed by two drives and then break for sloe gin. Following this we’ll shoot one or two more drives before lunch. Catering can be a picnic lunch followed by dinner after the shooting finishes, or a cooked midday meal with a light tea at the end of the day. Afternoon shooting usually consists of two or three drives. All transport around the shoot is provided. The size of the bag can be amended to suit gun’s requirements.

Our shoots are happy to entertain roving syndicates, corporate days and individual guns. We also offer a loader or minder service. If you are coming to us from outside the UK we are happy to arrange shooting permits. We are only one hour from the ferry at Harwich, one and a half hours from London Stansted and London Luton airports by car and one and a half hours by train from central London. We can arrange taxis etc. from airports/train stations at your request and have many local contacts who can provide overnight accommodation where required.

Shoots are well stocked with pheasant and partridge so there are always plenty of birds to choose from. The atmosphere is always relaxed and friendly whilst maintaining the expected levels of professionalism.
